Head of Inbound (Warehouse)

In this leadership role, you will oversee the inbound operations of a warehouse, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and safety standards. Your focus will be on team development and continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and master the end-to-end inbound process, establishing best practices for quality and efficiency.

• Execute daily and weekly operational plans, setting clear, data-driven goals for your team.

• Lead performance management, providing coaching and ensuring accountability for results.

• Analyze KPIs, offering detailed updates and actionable recommendations to senior management.

• Facilitate seamless collaboration between the inbound department and other operational teams.

• Develop and manage staffing plans, scheduling, and training to meet performance objectives.

• Drive a high-performance culture through mentorship and skill development initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) policies and compliance standards.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies like Kaizen and 5S.

• Lead cross-functional projects and support regional initiatives as necessary.

• Provide backfill support for other warehouse leaders when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, with 3-5 years in warehouse operations or order fulfillment.

• Strong knowledge of material management and transportation operations.

• Familiarity with industry standards related to compliance, particularly in aviation.

• Proficient understanding of IT systems, preferably SAP R/3 and other relevant management systems.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to change.

• Highly organized with effective time management skills, adaptable to dynamic environments.

• Commitment to integrity and compliance risk awareness.
