Assistant IT Manager

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Club's IT operations, ensuring a secure, reliable and efficient technology environment that supports the Club's day-to-day business operations. As the sole IT professional, you will oversee the Club's IT infrastructure, business applications, network, cyber security, vendor management and user support, while driving technology improvements and ensuring business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Club's day-to-day IT operations and provide timely technical support to users.
• Maintain and administer the Club's IT infrastructure, including servers, network, Microsoft 365, end-user devices and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the security, availability and reliability of all IT systems.
• Manage cybersecurity measures, system backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Coordinate IT projects, system upgrades and technology enhancements.
• Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, software licences and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and data protection requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent with at least 5 years’ of relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Hands-on technical experience of IT infrastructure, strong leadership and problem-solving skills and experience in Project Management
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Service oriented, able to work independently and within a team
• Support end users after office hours when required
