WPH - Applications Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and support of software applications
• Support requirements gathering and documentation activities
• Liaise with stakeholders to clarify basic user requirements
• Contribute to Proof-of-Concept development and testing
• Assist in application design, coding, and implementation tasks
• Support testing activities including unit and integration testing
• Monitor application performance and report issues
• Follow security, risk, and development best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint reviews
• Collaborate with team members across development, QA, and operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant internships or projects
• Candidates with a few years relevant working experience will be preferred
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle concepts
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Understanding of web applications, APIs, or databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms or development tools is an advantage
• Willingness to learn application architecture and system integration
• Basic knowledge of security and coding best practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
