What will you be doing?/ What we’re looking for:

Overall Purpose of the Role

To support the syndication team in arranging, underwriting, marketing and distributing large corporate bonds or leveraged loans to a syndicate of banks and institutional investors. This role will work closely with Coverage, Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets teams to win mandates and structure transactions. The overall objective of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, private credit and institutional clients to understand their financing needs and objectives and to help distribute fixed income syndicated capital market offerings.

Key Accountabilities

· Development and maintenance of strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients to understand their financing needs and objectives and to develop fixed income syndicated capital market offerings.

· Development and maintenance of complex financial models to assess the value of assets, companies, or securities and identify the most appropriate structuring of capital raising initiatives, including loan, bond or derivatives syndications.

· Identification, assessment, and management of risks associated with syndicated fixed income capital markets transactions and development of risk mitigation strategies in alignment with regulatory requirements, including the increase in complexity and potential conflicts of interest.

· Research, financial data analysis and continued development of market insights and investment recommendations.

· Collaboration with cross functional and cross institution teams to ensure successful execution of syndicated fixed income capital market transactions.

· Support the syndication of loans, private credit, bonds and other fixed income products to regional investors, including those based in Southeast Asia and Australia

Person Specification

• 5 or more years of similar experience in an Investment Bank

• Strong credit analysis and financial modelling skills

• Understanding of leveraged financing, corporate lending and debt capital markets products

• Able to product market updates and borrower/investor analysis.

• Assists in coordination due diligence and transaction execution.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and execution abilities with ability to work in fast paced environment.

• Results driven and focused on internal service quality

• Able to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures
