HVAC Drafter (5 Days / Up to $4,500 / Variable Performance Bonus / Jurong West)

Job Description

• Position: HVAC Drafter
• Well-established Singapore ACMV Engineering SME
• 5 Days Work Week (Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500
• Entitled to Variable Performance Bonuses
• Working Location: Jurong West
• Outpatient Medical Benefits Provided
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Engineering Services (ACMV – Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation)

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing accurate and coordinate air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) drawings for construction projects.
• Prepare detail drawings, as-built drawings plans and layout based on specifications using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and completeness for submission.
• Revise and update drawings in accordance with engineer’s instructions, site conditions, and comments by project team.
• Identify and resolve clashes related to ducts, pipes, beams, ceilings, and other building services.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand design requirements, address queries, and coordinate drafting activities.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Conduct site visits as required to verify site conditions and installation details.
• Perform other ad-hoc drafting assigned by the Project Management Team to support project needs.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of drafting experience in ACMV / HVAC, M&E or construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of ACMV systems such as AHU, FCU, VRF / VRV, Chilled Water Systems.
• Able to do 3D modelling using Revit software and detech clashes using Naviswork software.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices, standards and codes (eg. SS, CP, BCA requirements).
• Able to read and understand construction M&E drawings.
