Senior / Failure Analysis Engineer (Automotive Electronics manufacturing, North, up to $6K)

PrimaryJob Purpose

• Lead and perform Analyses ofautomotive electronics products.
• Develop strategies andimplement adequate methods in the Lab for Failure Analyses and Tear down
• Standardize FA techniques tofaster analysis.
• Synergize FA activities by workingwith local and global teams as needed
• Lead FA technicians onElemental & Metallurgical Analyses (SEM< EDX, FTIR, Micro cross sectionetc.), Non-Destructive Analyses (CT Scan, SAM, Laser Confocal Microscope etc.),Thermal Analyses (DSE, TGA), Physical & Mechanical Analyses (Hardness,Texture, Contact Angle, CMM, Smart scope, Tensile tester etc.)
• Improve FA lab capabilitiesin 4M aspects
• Participate and demonstrate FailureAnalysis capabilities to customers

• Ph.D. in Material science / Master or Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Physics/MaterialScience.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a semiconductor or automotive electronicsmanufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in application of Failure analysis tools / methodologies
• Experience in handling Failure Analysis Lab.
• Good interpersonal, leadership, analytical and communication skills.
