Rehearsing and practicing performances to perfect their art
Performing for live audiences in various settings including theaters, concerts, and festivals
Developing and interpreting characters for a dramatic performance
Collaborating with directors, other performers, choreographers and agents to ensure a successful performance
Studying and learning different types of roles and characters to expand their skills
Maintaining good vocal and physical health to sustain performance levels
Preparing for auditions and performing in front of casting directors
Attending promotional events and interviews to promote their performances
Reviewing scripts or musical scores, learning lines or songs, and developing characterization
Engaging with the audience during a performance, often improvising reactions and dialogue
