Assistant HR Manager
TES-AMM (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.
The incumbent will work closely with the HR Manager to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives that support organizational goals, enhance workforce planning, and strengthen employee engagement aligned with company policies and business needs.
- Assist in implementing and executing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives across the organization.
- Support full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide timely recruitment support.
- Provide HR advisory services and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Singapore employment legislation.
- Administer compensation and benefits, including salary reviews, bonuses, allowances and employee welfare programmes.
- Assist in conduct salary benchmarking and provide market insights to support hiring and remuneration decisions.
- Provide HR advisory to managers and employees on HR policies, employment legislation and employee relations matters.
- Handle disciplinary cases, investigations, grievance management and performance improvement plans in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process and support talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, company policies and statutory requirements.
- Assist review, develop and implement HR policies, employee handbook and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in analyzing HR metrics and preparing reports to support workforce planning and management decision-making.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards and analytics relating to headcount, turnover, recruitment and manpower planning.
- Support internal, external and customer compliance audits by maintaining complete and accurate HR documentation.
- Participate in HR projects, system enhancements, digitalization initiatives and continuous process improvement activities.
- Liaise with government agencies, external vendors and service providers on HR-related matters.
- Support employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of Singapore employment legislation, HR policies, employment practices, and the employee lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS will be an added advantage.
