Machinery Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Conduct diagnostic checks and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify and resolve faults
• Overhaul mechanical systems to restore functionality and extend equipment lifespan
• Inspect machinery regularly to verify proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
• Repair mechanical faults by replacing defective parts and components accurately
• Assist management in supervising and leading the maintenance team when required to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities for tracking and reporting purposes
• Execute any other ad-hoc duties assigned to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to enhance troubleshooting and repair effectiveness
• Proactive work approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative
