Job Description:
We are seeking a multi-task Research Scientist for Stem Cell Engineering to conduct R&D in human stem cell culture, gene editing, and organoid applications. This position is ideal for researchers aiming to leverage their expertise in stem cell engineering for the translational application of regenerative medicine. Candidates must demonstrate sufficient safety knowledge, strong experimental skills, a proven track record and a collaborative spirit to drive efficient lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow the safety and health management systems (SHMS) to ensure a safe workplace.
2. Maintain the functionality of stem cell culture platform.
3. Develop, optimize, and standardize robust protocols for organoid model establishment, with full coverage of key experimental workflows including stem cell maintenance, routine passaging, reliable cryopreservation and revival, rigorous quality control validation, tissue-specific organoid differentiation, and all relevant downstream analytical procedures.
4. Contribute to the construction and management of an organoid biobank, developing healthy and disease-specific organoid models to support drug screening, validation and toxicity assessment platforms.
5. Stay updated on cutting-edge organoid technologies; assist in project proposals, patent applications and academic collaborations; provide technical solutions.
6. Support the market promotion of stem cell engineering and organoid applications.
Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. degree in biology, regenerative medicine, bioengineering, or a related field.
2. Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology, human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)reprogramming, stem cell culture, iPSC-directed differentiation and stem cell genome editing.
3. Highly responsible, self-motivated, resilient, and entrepreneurial, with a willingness to grow alongside the company.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
