Role Description
The Health Service Manager (Attachment) will undergo structured training and practical exposure in clinical operations, patient care management, compliance with MOH regulations, and leadership in healthcare service delivery. The role is designed to equip mid‑career individuals with technical competencies, supervisory skills, and strategic healthcare management expertise to support organizational growth in the primary care industry.
Specific Responsibilities
- Clinical Operations & Patient Care Conduct patient assessments including audiometric exams, medical screenings, vaccinations, and workplace health checks. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with MOH standards.
- Compliance & Safety Standards Apply MOH regulations and workplace safety standards. Implement infection control protocols and conduct audits to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.
- Staff Supervision & Workflow Management Lead nursing staff and oversee daily clinic operations. Develop clinical protocols, documentation standards, and ensure smooth workflow execution.
- Data Interpretation & Reporting Analyze clinical data and prepare clear reports for management. Present findings and align healthcare services with patient needs and compliance requirements.
Competencies
- Technical Skills: Patient assessment procedures, audiometric exams, medical screenings, vaccinations.
- Compliance Knowledge: MOH regulations, workplace safety standards, infection control.
- Supervisory Skills: Staff management, workflow development, protocol implementation.
- Communication & Engagement: Effective patient interaction, staff coordination, stakeholder communication.
- Analytical & Reporting: Data interpretation, clinical reporting, presentation to management.
Duration of Attachment Offered – 6 months
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience or exposure to healthcare or clinical services.
- Familiarity with MOH regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient data in compliance with Singapore’s PDPA.
- Strong communication and supervisory skills.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience preferred.
