Product Manager

We are seeking a Product Manager (Genomics) to lead the development, positioning, and growth of our genomics product portfolio. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure products meet customer needs while supporting business growth within the life sciences and diagnostics market.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and business plans aligned with market opportunities and company objectives.

• Manage the complete product lifecycle, from product planning and development through commercial launch and ongoing portfolio management.

• Monitor product performance, analyse market trends, and recommend improvements to strengthen product competitiveness.

Market Research & Business Development

• Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking to identify business opportunities and emerging technologies.

• Gather customer feedback and translate market requirements into product specifications and development priorities.

• Support pricing strategies, product positioning, and go-to-market initiatives for new and existing products.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with R&D, technical specialists, sales, marketing, operations, and application teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Coordinate product launches, training activities, and marketing initiatives to ensure successful product adoption.

• Act as the key product representative, providing technical and commercial support to both internal stakeholders and customers.

Customer & Regulatory Support

• Build strong relationships with customers, business partners, and key industry stakeholders to understand market needs and support long-term product growth.

• Ensure products comply with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality guidelines.

• Present product updates, market insights, and business recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience within the genomics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or life sciences sector.

• Previous experience in product management, product marketing, business development, or portfolio management is preferred.

• Good understanding of genomics technologies, molecular biology, diagnostics, or life sciences products.

• Strong knowledge of market analysis, product positioning, and commercial strategy.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including scientific, technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with regulatory requirements, product compliance, or quality standards within the life sciences or diagnostics industry will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
