Automation Technician | Warehouse / Logistics Environment

Role Overview

Be the first line of response for automation systems on-site. This is a hands-on role supporting equipment uptime, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Ideal for someone proactive who can spot issues before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks, basic troubleshooting, and first-line fault response
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) on automation systems (e.g. conveyors, robots, AGVs/AMRs)
• Record faults, actions taken, and downtime accurately in system logs
• Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors/engineers promptly
• Support vendors during repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
• Assist in testing and commissioning of new or upgraded systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and spare parts
• Follow all workplace safety procedures (e.g. LOTO, PPE, permits)

• Monday to Friday, office hours
• Up to $3,200
• Tuas
• 12 months contract

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related
• Minimum 1 year hands-on maintenance/technical experience
• Basic electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Able to read simple wiring diagrams and manuals
