Role Overview
Be the first line of response for automation systems on-site. This is a hands-on role supporting equipment uptime, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Ideal for someone proactive who can spot issues before they escalate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks, basic troubleshooting, and first-line fault response
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) on automation systems (e.g. conveyors, robots, AGVs/AMRs)
- Record faults, actions taken, and downtime accurately in system logs
- Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors/engineers promptly
- Support vendors during repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
- Assist in testing and commissioning of new or upgraded systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and spare parts
- Follow all workplace safety procedures (e.g. LOTO, PPE, permits)

- Monday to Friday, office hours
- Up to $3,200
- Tuas
- 12 months contract
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related
- Minimum 1 year hands-on maintenance/technical experience
- Basic electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Able to read simple wiring diagrams and manuals
