Senior Bunker Procurement Executive (Container)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage global lubricant procurement and delivery for the fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply.
• Review vessel requisitions, coordinate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, and oversee end-to-end delivery execution.
• Verify delivery documentation and supplier invoices for accurate processing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform rotational bunker operations duty, coordinating fuel deliveries and resolving operational issues.
• Review bunker quantity survey reports, fuel quality reports (ISO8217/GCMS), and investigate discrepancies or supplier claims.
• Conduct vessel inspections to ensure compliance with bunkering procedures and fuel delivery standards.
• Support internal audits, investigate ROB discrepancies, and implement corrective actions where required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline with 5 years of maritime experience, or a Marine Engineering CoC Class 5 or above with shipboard bunkering experience.
• Good understanding of procurement, bunker operations, and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with data analytics or Power Automate is advantageous.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, global operational environment.
