Junior Sommelier / Assistant Manager

We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Junior Sommelier / Assistant Manager to support the restaurant's daily operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will assist in managing service operations, recommend wines and beverages to guests, oversee service standards, and support the Restaurant Manager in leading the front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Recommend wines and beverages to complement guests' dining experience.
• Maintain and manage wine inventory, storage, and stock control.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest feedback professionally.
• Supervise and guide the front-of-house team during service.
• Assist with staff training on food, wine, and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth service operations.
• Support ordering, stock-taking, and cost control.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
