Shipping Coordinator (US MNC | Up to $3,800 | Office Hours)

Salary: Up to $3,800/month (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: 12-month Contract (Convertible/Renewable)

Job Responsibilities

As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of shipping operations and timely delivery of shipments.

Your duties include:

• Prepare, verify and file shipping documentation for various shipment types.
• Liaise with Customer Service Representatives, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and warehouse personnel to coordinate shipment schedules and delivery status.
• Monitor shipment reports and ensure timely shipment updates.
• Lead the shipping team and resolve day-to-day shipment and order processing issues.
• Escalate complex shipment matters to the Supervisor where necessary.
• Investigate shipment discrepancies and implement corrective actions for routine issues.
• Support the Supervisor in resolving more complex operational issues.
• Assist in daily manpower allocation for shipping operations.
• Train and guide new team members on shipping processes and procedures.
• Serve as the main point of contact for routine shipping enquiries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Experience handling shipping documentation and coordinating shipment activities.
• Able to exercise sound judgement in resolving operational issues and making recommendations.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
