*URGENT* Dental Assistant (5.5 days office hours) #HRY

Assist oral and maxillofacial surgeons and dentists during dental consultations, procedures and surgical treatments.

Prepare and set up dental treatment rooms, surgical instruments and equipment before procedures.

Assist during oral surgery procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant procedures and other oral and maxillofacial surgeries.

Prepare and pass dental instruments and materials to the dentist or surgeon during procedures.

Ensure proper sterilisation, disinfection and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.

Prepare patients for dental and surgical procedures and provide post-procedure care instructions as directed by the dental surgeon.

Monitor and ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout their treatment.

Perform chairside assistance and maintain a clean, organised and hygienic clinical environment.

Assist with taking dental X-rays and other imaging procedures where required and appropriately trained.

Manage dental consumables, instruments and clinical supplies, including stock replenishment.

Provide support with patient registration, appointment scheduling and other clinic administrative duties when required.

Liaise with patients professionally and provide assistance with enquiries regarding their appointments and treatment.

Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth daily clinic and surgical operations.

Requirements

Prior Dental Assistant experience
