Product Engineer (Cybersecurity Platforms & Solutions)

About theRole

We are seeking a highlymotivated Product Engineer-Cybersecurity Platforms & Solutions with 8+years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security platforms, andenterprise security technologies. This role is responsible for evaluating,designing, engineering, and delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions thatenhance the organization's security posture across cloud, network,infrastructure, applications, and digital platforms.

The successful candidatewill work closely with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure,Network, Cloud, DevSecOps, Product Management, and technology partners toevaluate emerging security technologies, develop new cybersecuritycapabilities, build reusable security solutions, and support strategiccybersecurity transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for anengineer who enjoys solving complex security challenges, evaluating newtechnologies, building production-ready security capabilities, and drivinginnovation across enterprise cybersecurity platforms.

KeyResponsibilities

CybersecurityProduct Engineering

• Design, develop, and deliver cybersecurity products, MVPs, and production-ready security solutions aligned with business and security objectives.
• Translate business and security requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies, platforms, and products for enterprise adoption.
• Build reusable security frameworks, reference architectures, implementation blueprints, and engineering assets.
• Drive secure-by-design principles across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and digital services.
• Support the productization and adoption of cybersecurity capabilities across the organization.

CybersecurityPlatforms & Solution Engineering

• Engineer and enhance enterprise cybersecurity platforms supporting threat detection, prevention, response, resilience, and security automation.
• Design and develop new security use cases addressing evolving cyber threats and business requirements.
• Evaluate and integrate commercial and open-source cybersecurity products into the enterprise ecosystem.
• Develop automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and security outcomes.
• Produce technical designs, implementation guides, operational procedures, and reference architectures for enterprise deployment.

DetectionEngineering & Security Operations Enablement

• Design and develop advanced detection use cases for modern threat scenarios.
• Develop use cases aligned with MITRE ATT&CK and threat intelligence frameworks.
• Collaborate with Security Operations teams to improve visibility, detection coverage, and operational effectiveness.

Infrastructure& Cloud Security

• Design and implement security solutions for enterprise, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.

• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical evaluations for quantum-resistant encryption, secure communications, and cryptographic modernization.

AI Security& Secure AI Platforms

• Evaluate and implement security controls for enterprise AI and Generative AI platforms.
• Design security architectures and guardrails for AI-enabled applications and AI services.
• Assess AI applications for security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks.
• Evaluate AI security technologies protecting LLMs, AI APIs, and AI workloads.

TechnologyEvaluation & Innovation

• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies through technical assessments, product benchmarking, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
• Produce solution architectures, implementation guides, operational runbooks, and deployment standards.

Collaboration& Architecture

• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, DevSecOps, and Security Operations teams.
• Participate in cybersecurity architecture reviews and secure solution design.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cybersecurity product engineering, or enterprise security solution development.
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity platforms and security architectures.
• Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
• Experience evaluating and implementing enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
• Knowledge of secure architecture principles and secure-by-design methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

PreferredQualifications

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, and Cortex XSOAR or similar platforms from IBM, Upwind, Fortinet, Checkpoint or Trelix.
• Experience implementing Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), PKI, Key Management Systems (KMS), and enterprise secrets management solutions from Hashicopr, Fortranix, Thales
• Experience evaluating and implementing Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and quantum-safe security technologies.
• Knowledge of AI security, AI governance, secure AI architecture, and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications.
• Experience assessing security risks associated with Generative AI and AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ETSI, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, PCNSE, or equivalent are advantageous.
