Job Scope

  • Perform general diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning and image acquisition to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Provide safe, compassionate and patient-centred care throughout imaging procedures.
  • Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) and comply with radiation protection, infection prevention and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Operate, maintain and perform routine quality assurance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to facilitate timely diagnosis and patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing professional education and departmental projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor.

Requirements

  • Min Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
