Engineer – Power Solutions (Generators / BESS) $7K - $8.5K / PB + VB (UP TO 3 Months) Transport Provided - Pioneer MRT

Role Summary

· Lead technical oversight of Power Solutions portfolio: Diesel Generators, BESS, Power Cables, and Distribution Boards

· Hands-on leadership role driving product development, reliability, and innovation in sustainable power solutions

· Mentor engineering teams and bridge management, engineers, and external partners

· Based in Singapore with a leading power solutions provider serving Construction and Industrial sectors

Key Duties

· Monitor product performance and recommend improvements for reliability, efficiency, and safety

· Conduct technical reviews, testing, and validation of new designs

· Lead feasibility studies for new power solution product lines

· Mentor and guide engineers and technicians; build a culture of learning and improvement

· Ensure engineering work meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards

· Track industry trends in Diesel Generators, Hybrid Power, and BESS; propose and pilot new technologies

· Evaluate new products and components with suppliers and partners

· Support sales and business development teams with technical input during client discussions

· Deliver internal training and knowledge-sharing across teams

· Liaise with external vendors and certification bodies

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (or related field)

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience

· Strong technical knowledge of Power Generation, Energy Storage, and Power Distribution Systems

· Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams

· Practical, hands-on problem solver able to balance engineering theory with field realities

· Familiarity with Singapore safety and regulatory standards is an advantage
