Network Support Engineer

We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to manage, maintain, and secure the IT infrastructure for our dedicated R&D hardware laboratory in Singapore. You will oversee lab servers, virtualized platforms, network connectivity, and cybersecurity compliance, while enabling secure cross-site collaboration between our Singapore and US (Boise) engineering teams.

• Administer lab servers and virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V). Monitor performance, manage OS/firmware patching, execute backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Ensure reliable LAN/WAN connectivity, troubleshoot network issues, and support secure crosssite communications
• Support data storage, acquisition, transfer, and system integration across lab environments
• Enforce security policies, manage access controls, support vulnerability remediation, and ensure audit readiness
• Work closely with stakeholders and global teams to support infrastructure operations, deployments, and continuous improvements

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computering Engineering, Network Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, or network support (experience in lab, R&D or manufacturing environments is a plus).
• Proficient in Windows/Linux Server administration and VMware/Hyper-V management
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network diagnostics
• Familiar with enterprise backup solutions, system hardening, vulnerability management and acess control
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, high ownership mindset, and excellent communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
