Senior Field Service Engineer $4K - $6K / PB + VB (UP TO 3 Months) Transport Provided - Joo Koon MRT (BESS / Power Generator Field)

Key Duties

· Lead on-site installation and deployment of BESS

· Commission, perform system testing, and ensure successful integration

· Install and configure electrical distribution boards and connect systems to diesel generators

· Perform electrical testing using multi-meters, insulation testers, and clamp meters

· Interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams

· Troubleshoot system faults and conduct root cause analysis

· Monitor system performance and perform data-driven diagnostics

· Ensure compliance with electrical codes, IEC /UL standards, and safety regulations

· Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal engineering teams

· Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, and system records

· Provide basic system training to clients and partners

· Support hybrid system (BESS + Diesel Generator) integration projects

· Collaborate with product development teams to improve system performance

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· 3 to 5 years of experience

· Hands-on experience:

1. Electrical Installation and Commissioning

2. BESS, Solar, or Generator Systems

3. High-Voltage Systems and Power Electronics

· Strong knowledge:

1. Diesel Generators and Electrical Distribution systems

2. Inverters, Power Electronics, and Energy Storage Safety practices

· Able to read, interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams

· Experienced with electrical testing equipment

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Independent, hands-on, and field-oriented

· Willing to travel regionally

· Good to have:

1. Experience in Hybrid Power Systems (BESS + Diesel Genset)

2. Familiarity with SCADA or remote monitoring systems

3. Knowledge of grid interconnection requirements

4. Valid Electrician License or relevant certifications
