About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and responsible individuals to join our Dog Daycare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs attending daycare to ensure a safe, happy and enriching environment.
• Monitor group play and encourage positive social interaction between dogs.
• Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments.
• Walk, exercise and engage dogs through structured play and enrichment activities.
• Feed dogs according to individual dietary requirements.
• Clean and disinfect kennels, daycare play areas, equipment and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Monitor each dog's health, behaviour and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Assist with bathing and basic grooming , ad hoc.
• Support daily operations and provide excellent customer service to pet owners.
• Ensure the safety, comfort and welfare of every dog under your care.
• 5 day work week, 2 shifts.

Requirements

• Passionate about dogs and animal welfare.
• Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Patient, energetic, responsible and reliable.
• Physically fit and able to work in an active environment.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Positive attitude with good communication skills.
• Previous experience in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, veterinary clinics or pet care is an advantage.
• No experience is welcome to apply as training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays on a roster basis.
