Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Engineer assists in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of the organisation's security infrastructure. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will help configure security tools, triage vulnerability scans, and implement basic automation scripts.

Job Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring: Assist in reviewing alerts from SIEM (e.g., Splunk) and EDR systems to identify potential security anomalies.
• Vulnerability Triage: Run scheduled vulnerability scans, document findings, and help patch or remediate known flaws.
• Access Control: Help manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring users have minimum necessary privileges.
• Endpoint Protection: Deploy and maintain anti-malware and endpoint security agents across company laptops and servers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, security baseline configurations, and incident tickets.
• User Awareness Support: Assist in deploying internal phishing simulation campaigns and building security training materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in Information Security.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years as a SOC Analyst.
• Core Protocols: Understanding of SIEM, EDR, WAF and SOAR.
• CompTIA Security+ and CCNA v7 certified.
