About The Role

The Singapore Mint is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to support warehouse operations, inventory management, stock accuracy, and logistics coordination activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, inventory control, shipment coordination, and maintaining accurate records within warehouse and inventory systems.

This role is suitable for individuals with warehouse, logistics, inventory control, supply chain, distribution, fulfilment, or 3PL experience who enjoy working in a hands-on operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery documents.
  • Store inventory accurately according to warehouse procedures.
  • Pick, pack and prepare products for delivery and customer fulfilment.
  • Support inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
  • Maintain proper labelling, storage, traceability and stock organization.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and workplace safety standards are maintained.

Inventory Management

  • Process inventory transactions accurately within warehouse or ERP systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment activities.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and stock records.
  • Support cycle counts, stock takes and inventory verification exercises.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies when required.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate deliveries, collections and shipment schedules.
  • Liaise with logistics partners, transport providers and couriers.
  • Prepare delivery orders, packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Track delivery status and support timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Comply with company policies, warehouse SOPs and workplace safety requirements.
  • Support audit activities and stock verification exercises.
  • Maintain proper operational records and documentation.
  • Support initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and service levels.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Operations or related disciplines will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, distribution, fulfilment or supply chain functions preferred.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail fulfilment, high-value inventory environments or similar operational settings is beneficial.
  • Candidates with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience will have an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Comfortable using computer systems for inventory and operational administration.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Reliable, responsible and committed to maintaining operational standards.

Preferred

  • Experience coordinating with logistics providers, transport companies or 3PL vendors.
  • Knowledge of ERP, SAP, QAD, WMS or inventory management systems.
  • Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
  • Forklift license or experience operating warehouse equipment.
