Contract Project Finance Officer (Education Sector) at West Area, up to $4000

The position takes care of all reimbursement claims and reports of funding agencies, budget reports preparation for department reporting.

• Manage research projects by monitoring and maintaining program budget: tracking all expenditures, cumulative claims and claims received to-date
• Coordinate with funding agencies on matters related to funding mechanism and ensure funding is in place on time
• Work closely with the appointed auditors for account audits and any other project research accounts
• Perform monthly financial budgeting and reports for all research project accounts
• Submission of claim and audit report to funder on a timely basis
• Creation of account/variation request in system
• Monitor fund budget and aid in procurement activities in the research program
• Compliance monitoring for regulatory requirements
• Liaise with funding agencies, PI, Profs, researchers, peers, etc on projects related matters.
• Work with PI on budgeting, KPIs, milestones and finance matters
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Contractual Period: 6 months contract (Convertible depends on experience)

Location: West Area

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday, 8.30am to 5.45pm
• Friday, 8.30am to 5.15pm

Salary: up to $4,000

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder with relevant experience from related industry
