Assistant Cost Consultant (ACMV / M&E Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tenders and quotations, including quantity take-offs and cost estimation for ACMV projects.

• Source and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to support project costing and procurement activities.

• Prepare cost comparisons, reports, and recommendations for management approval.

• Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, and calculations to support project requirements.

• Assist with ACMV design works, including duct sizing, heat load calculations, and engineering drawings.

• Provide technical support to engineers and assist with project administration and contractual matters.

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings and support design-and-build project proposals, monitor project costs and perform cost control activities throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or ACMV/M&E engineering will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of M&E drawings, ACMV design, technical specifications, and construction processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
