Urgent: Business Development Manager (Construction & Geotechnical Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, projects, and market opportunities within the construction and geotechnical industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders to support business growth.
• Conduct market research and gather industry intelligence to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
• Review tender proposals, evaluate project opportunities, and support bid strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
• Lead bid management activities for major projects, including client negotiations and contract discussions.
• Collaborate with business development and technical teams to develop effective solutions and achieve sales targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop business development team members to improve performance and achieve company objectives.
• Represent and promote the company’s brand, reputation, and business interests through professional client engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in business development, tendering, consulting, or construction-related roles.
• Experience in ground improvement, geotechnical engineering, or construction projects will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial, contractual, and tendering processes within the construction industry.
• Experience in geotechnical design, solution development, or related engineering software will be preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and business relationship-building skills.
