Quantity Surveyor – Builders’ Works / M&E

• Position : Quantity Surveyor – Builders’ Works / M&E

Location : Ubi

• Working hours : Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM, and Saturday, 8:30AM - 1:00PM, with Saturday work performed from home.

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : $3800 - $4500 + AWS + 14 Days Annual Leave

Main Responsibilities

• Review and execute tender documents, submission in accordance to tender requirement

• Assist in procurement and overview of purchases

• To liaise with contractors / suppliers on quotation and includes taking off of BQ

• Preparation on submission documents

• Prepare and analyzing costing for tenders(BCT, compare quotations).

• Prepare costing and discuss with Manager / Director for final figure (Margin, Prelim and profit)

• Furnish budgetary costing for tender

• Negotiated final pricing with contractors / supplier (retention, warranty, T&C)

• Preparation of project budgets, report and cost estimation

• Allocate work to subcontractors and providing advice on contractual claims

• Submission for progress claim

• Preparation of quotations and any VO for submission

• Report to Director / QS Lead

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline

• At least one to two years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience
