Job Summary
Manufacture laboratory chemicals by preparing chemical solutions, reagents, and samples following standard operating procedures with precision and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples accurately according to standard operating procedures to support laboratory manufacturing processes
- Operate standard laboratory tools and handle chemicals safely to maintain compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain organized work areas and document processes to ensure traceability and quality control
- Apply strong attention to detail to detect and prevent errors during chemical preparation and handling
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Post-secondary qualification in Chemistry, Applied Science, Chemical Technology, or related discipline (ITE, Polytechnic Diploma, or GCE A-Levels with Chemistry)
- Basic hands-on experience with standard laboratory tools and chemical handling
