IAM Operations & Support Consultant

Hexadius is seeking an IAM Operations& Support Consultant to provide operational support and maintenance for enterprise Identity and Access Management (‘ IAM’) platforms such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, AWS Identity Centre, SailPoint ISC, etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring IAM platforms, supporting troubleshootingaccess-related issues, integration issues, and assisting with access governance activities, and implementing approved configuration changes. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for cybersecurity and identity security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Support

• Monitor the health and availability of IAM platforms and integrations
• Investigate and resolve identity and access-related incidents
• Troubleshoot authentication, Single Sign-On (‘ SSO’), Multi-Factor Authentication (‘ MFA’) and provisioning issues
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles

2. Service Request Management

• Support user access and identity administration requests
• Validate and troubleshoot provisioning and synchronization issues
• Assist with access reviews and governance activities
• Support audit and compliance-related requests
• Generate reports and extract operational data when required
• Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders

3. Change & Configuration Management

• Implement approved configuration changes across IAM environments
• Support enhancements to identity automation and provisioning processes
• Assist with policy administration and security control updates
• Participate in testing and validation of IAM platform changes
• Ensure all changes are documented and executed in accordance with established procedures

Required Qualifications & Skills

Core IAM Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and AWS Identity Center (SSO)
• Deep understanding of: SAML, OIDC, SCIM protocols

Security & Access Controls

• Experience with: SSO and MFA; Identity Protection and risk-based policies
• Familiarity with workflow automation technologies, serverless functions, or scripting solutions such as: AWS Lambda, PowerShell, Python, REST APIs
• Good understanding of Logging, monitoring, audit frameworks and Cloud security best practices

Delivery Skills

• Experience working in professional services/ consulting environment
• Ability to engage with clients and validate issues
• Deliver structured documentation and presentations
