Job Summary

IB Super seeks a committed part-time IB Chemistry Tutor to deliver Higher and Standard Level lessons, preparing students for assessments and exams with tailored instruction and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and small-group IB Chemistry lessons at Higher and Standard Levels to facilitate student understanding
• Explain complex Chemistry concepts clearly to enhance student comprehension
• Prepare students effectively for school assessments and IB examinations through targeted lesson plans
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse students’ learning needs and styles
• Provide constructive feedback and monitor students’ academic progress to support continuous improvement

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or undergraduate qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience teaching IB Chemistry, supporting effective curriculum delivery and student success
• Strong Chemistry knowledge and communication skills to engage and clarify subject matter
• Responsible and patient attitude with commitment to regular weekly lessons

Other Information

Teaching materials, training, and guidance will be provided. Competitive hourly remuneration is based on qualifications and experience.
