Assistant Manager, Finance (12 months, Labrador Park, UP$5.2K)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor invoice processing and employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit schedules.
• Administer fixed assets and lease accounting, including asset capitalisation, transfers, disposals, and periodic asset verification.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and addressing audit queries.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational and accounting matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, or financial accounting.
• Experience with Workday and data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive team player with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
