Product Manager - Semicon Chemical

Summary

Responsible for driving the growth, profitability, andcustomer satisfaction of the company's Formulated & Process Chemicals (FPC)product lines.

Work closely with the Business Director and cross-functionalteams to develop business strategies, manage product lifecycles, support newproduct introductions (NPI), optimise pricing, and strengthen customer andsupplier relationships.

Analyse market trends, understanding competitor activities,and supporting global business objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the FPC productline and improve profitability.

Lead internal and external projects to enhance businessperformance.

Manage pricing strategies, costing, and profitabilityanalysis with sales, finance, and the Business Director.

Own the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and respond tocustomer RFQs/RFIs.

Collaborate across global regions and cross-functional teamsto meet customer and business needs.

Manage commercial and technical requirements for customersand product lines.

Prepare business analyses, reports, and customerpresentations.

Support customer applications, product changes, qualityinitiatives, and supply chain programmes.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customerdevelopment roadmaps.

Develop pricing strategies based on market intelligence.

Prepare and administer commercial contracts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; Materials Science or Chemistrypreferred; MBA is an advantage.

9+ years of product management, sales, or commercialexperience in semiconductor chemicals or a related industry.

Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of profitability,costing, ROI, and pricing.

Experience solving technical issues related to chemical,material, and process engineering.

Knowledge of statistical analysis and Design of Experiments(DOE).

Strong project management and leadership skills with theability to work independently.

Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and presentationdevelopment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for bothtechnical and non-technical audiences.
