Facility Technician

We are seeking a proactive Facility Technician to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the factory environment. This role involves maintaining infrastructure and coordinating maintenance activities with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the physical infrastructure, utilities, and facilities.

• Manage and supervise licensed contractors for renovation and maintenance activities.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure functionality of all facilities.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on air conditioning, lighting, and other systems.

• Oversee the maintenance of safety and security systems, including burglar alarms, door access, and CCTV.

• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations through regular maintenance of fire extinguishers.

• Coordinate and supervise contractors during renovation works.

• Liaise with the management office regarding building safety and environmental concerns.

• Prepare purchase orders and procurement requests for system administration.

• Assist with office space planning and draft floor plans.

Requirements

• Relevant technical education or certification in facility management or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as safety and security protocols.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively under pressure.

• Familiarity with administrative processes related to facility management is an advantage.
