Trade Finance Ops (Banking, Import & Export Documentary Credits (L/C), $5.5k ) (ID: 706435)

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions.
• Provide operational support and guidance for trade finance transactions.
• Process trade service and finance transactions, including letter of credit (LC) advising, issuance, and documents processing.
• Liaise with clients regarding documentary aspects of transactions.
• Handle accounting entries, reconciliation, and reporting related to trade services and finance.
• Ensure compliance of trade documents with the terms and conditions of LCs.
• Administer documents pertinent to trade transactions.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/GCE ‘A’ level with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Trade Services and Finance within banking is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative team player capable of adapting to organizational and stakeholder needs.
• Experience in managing import and export transactions.
• Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP, URC, URR, and Incoterms is preferred.
• Meticulous nature with a working knowledge of AML/CFT regulations relevant to trade finance is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, including remittance, loan administration, treasury settlement, and onboarding.
• CITF and/or CDCS certification is preferable but not mandatory.
