Mobile Applications Developer

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Applications Developer to join our cross-platform mobile development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications that run seamlessly across Android, iOS, and Windows from a single codebase. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions while driving engineering best practices and mentoring junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI for Android, iOS, and Windows.
• Build scalable and maintainable solutions following MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Develop native platform integrations and custom renderers/handlers where platform-specific functionality is required.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with robust error handling.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, with UI automation using Appium or similar frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, rendering, and battery consumption.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest .NET, .NET MAUI, and Xamarin migration best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment of mobile applications.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in .NET technologies.
• Hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI (Xamarin.Forms experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID design principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Solid knowledge of native Android ( Java/Kotlin interoperability) and iOS ( Swift/Objective-C interoperability) integrations.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, and UI testing using Appium or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile development teams.
