Sales Manager – Green Technology

Reporting to: Senior Manager – Green Technology

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive business development initiatives for Goltens’ Green Technology portfolio across marine, offshore, and land-based sectors.
• Analyze market conditions to identify opportunities and develop decarbonization solutions, aligned with regulatory frameworks such as IMO CII requirements.
• Develop strong technical and commercial understanding of retrofit engineering processes, including:
  • Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) across multiple OEMs
  • Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (Scrubbers)
  • Integrated retrofit and turnkey project execution
  • Energy-saving solutions and vessel performance optimization technologies
• Promote and deliver end-to-end solutions, including engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Expand the Green Department’s footprint by identifying and pursuing local and international growth opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and profit margin objectives.
• Conduct sales forecasting, contract negotiation, and deal closing activities.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with departmental and company objectives.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports, forecasts, and account updates to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and new prospects.
• Conduct sales visits, technical presentations, and solution discussions to effectively position company offerings.
• Take ownership of customer engagements, ensuring technical and commercial credibility in all proposals
• Develop and implement strategies to grow market share across sectors

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL

Technical / Professional:

• At least Diploma in Engineering
• At least 5 years working experience in Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry
• Having experience in Automation,instrumentation electrical or electronics background is preferred

Technological:

• Competent in Microsoft Office

General:

• Ability to work well under pressure with good organizational and time management skills

People/Relations:

• Good communication skill
• Good team player with good attitude, integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills

Industrial Knowledge:

• Marine or Offshore / Oil & Gas Industry
