LORRY DRIVER

Job Summary

Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate records and complying with traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment according to assigned schedules
• Load and unload goods safely, verifying quantities against delivery orders to ensure accuracy
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer acknowledgements for completed deliveries
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the lorry clean and roadworthy to ensure safety and reliability
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues promptly to supervisors for timely resolution
• Comply with traffic regulations and company safety procedures at all times
• Assist with general warehouse or operational duties as needed to support team operations
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to contribute to smooth workflow

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant lorry-driving experience
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations
• Good driving record and safety awareness
• Physical ability to handle loading and unloading duties
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required
