Buyer - Indirect Procurement (AEROSPACE MNC) - East/up to $4.5k #HAO

Salary: up to $4500

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Location: Pasir Ris (company pickup Tamp/Pasir Ris/Sengkang/Kranji)

To source and procure materials in the most cost effective and time efficient manner to meet organisation needs.

Ensure compliance of the company standards on purchasing policies and procedures.

Plan and coordinate timely delivery of purchases to meet organisation on time delivery requirements.

Maintain database for materials, vendors, prices & expenditures.

Responsible for driving cost savings without compromising the overall quality, mitigate risk of single source by expanding vendor base, i.e. qualify new vendors; and be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of vendors in terms of delivery and product quality.

Participate in material review and ensure material issues are elevated and resolved in a timely manner

Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and take initiative to enhance material planning process

Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and finance etc

To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time

Job Requirements: Min Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business or similar w min 3 yrs of relevant experience, preferably in aerospace/manufacturing industries
