IT Infrastructure Solution Architect

Looking for an IT Infrastructure Solution Design to lead the design, modernization, and standardization of infrastructure blueprints across APAC data centers and public cloud environments. The role will define end-to-end architecture, automation, and observability designs aligned with business objectives, industry best practices, security, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibility

• The incumbent will design and optimize resilient, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure across data-center facilities, networks, storage, backup, virtualization/container layers, OS/compute, middleware, and databases.
• The role requires an innovation mindset, leveraging cloud-native solutions, automation frameworks, and AI-driven operational intelligence.
• The role will also provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the regional infrastructure estate, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security frameworks, and operational resilience while managing collaboration among Infrastructure, Security, Application, and Cloud teams.

Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering

• Develop, implement, and govern infrastructure blueprints across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Establish end-to-end architecture standards covering compute, network, storage, backup, virtualization/container, OS/compute, and cloud services.
• Define and drive hybrid and multi-cloud strategies with optimized workload placement.
• Evaluate and implement next-generation infrastructure solutions aligned with business growth, technology trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead pre-studies and proof-of-concept initiatives for technologies such as edge computing, AI-driven infrastructure, and serverless architectures.

Automation & Observability

• Define and implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and policy-driven automation.
• Establish end-to-end observability frameworks for real-time performance monitoring, proactive issue detection, and AIOps-driven incident resolution.
• Drive AI/ML-based automation for self-healing infrastructure, intelligent scaling, and cost efficiency.
• Modernize IT Operations through predictive analytics, event-driven automation, and self-service capabilities.

Technical Leadership for IT Infrastructure

• Lead new infrastructure designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
• Define long-term infrastructure roadmaps, driving standardization, modernization, and resilience across regional IT environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to embed zero-trust capabilities, encryption, and compliance frameworks into infrastructure design.
• Partner with Application, DevOps, and Cloud teams to align infrastructure design with their requirements.
• Lead engineering teams to drive technical excellence, an automation-first mindset, and continuous innovation.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Define regional infrastructure strategies aligned to global standards in collaboration with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and regulatory bodies.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and optimize technology partnerships, licensing models, and vendor agreements to ensure cost efficiency and innovation.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Application Development, and Operations teams.
• Discuss and support business stakeholders in adopting modern infrastructure principles that enhance business agility and resilience.

Qualification

• Extensive technical expertise in on-premise and cloud infrastructure design, engineering, and operations.
• Proven experience leading large-scale IT infrastructure modernization and automation programs.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, AIOps, and DevOps-driven infrastructure management.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native services, multi-cloud management, and hybrid cloud estates.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge, ensuring infrastructure resilience, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Experience in vendor management, cost optimization, and strategic technology modernization.
• Proven ability to drive technical transformation, innovation, and automation in a large-scale infrastructure environment.

Requirement

• 20+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, engineering, and operations;
• 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role managing large-scale transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience or certifications in infrastructure domains and technologies, infrastructure security, cloud, and automation are beneficial.
