Pharmacy Technician (West) (ID: 685457)

Our established client within the public healthcare sector is seeking to hire Pharmacy Technicians to join their growing team!

• 5 days office hours with alternate half Saturdays

• Training provided

• Annual AWS + PB (up to 4 months)

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing medication orders, including typing, packing, labelling, and distribution

• Perform billing functions to ensure cost and revenue recovery

• Counsel patients on medicines via tele-consult under pharmacist supervision

• Monitor and maintain drug inventory levels

• Receive, check, and verify deliveries against documents

• Perform stock receipts and issues following FIFO procedures

• Provide quality customer service to patients and caregivers

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and prepare for daily operations

• Assist in onboarding and training new staff

Requirements

• Diploma in a Pharmaceutical Science.

• Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
