Senior Procurement Manager (Equipment)

Job Summary

The Senior/Category Manager leads strategic and operational management of assigned Equipment categories, driving supplier strategies and complex sourcing projects to align with business goals. This role mentors Procurement and collaborates with senior stakeholders across Engineering, R&D, and Operations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; MBA preferred
• 7–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in manufacturing, semiconductor, or equipment-heavy industries
• Proven experience managing strategic supplier negotiations and cross-functional projects
• Advanced negotiation and supplier management skills
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in TCO, cost modeling, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and e-sourcing tools
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10–20%)
