Structural Design Engineer (Civil Engineering) | Up to $5,000

Salary up to $5,000 (depending on experience)

Location: near Marymount MRT

5-day work week

Opportunity to work on large-scale bridge and civil engineering projects

Regional exposure supporting international projects

Responsibilities

• Design temporary and permanent structural solutions for civil engineering projects.
• Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations in accordance with international design standards.
• Prepare design reports, calculations and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with internal technical and mechanical teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Review drawings and calculations prepared by team members.
• Manage assigned engineering projects to ensure quality, timelines and cost objectives are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and identify technical risks or design changes.
• Support project planning and propose solutions for design variations when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of structural design experience in civil engineering projects.
• Experience in steel structure design and/or temporary works design.
• Knowledge of international design standards is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with structural analysis or modelling software is preferred.
• Knowledge of Sofistik and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
