Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary

Serve food courteously, handle payments, pack delivery meals, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen operations in a Halal-certified environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve food to customers courteously and maintain a friendly demeanor to enhance customer experience
• Process payments and handle basic cash transactions accurately to ensure smooth sales operations
• Pack meals for delivery orders efficiently to meet customer expectations and delivery schedules
• Clean and maintain the serving area after each service to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with general kitchen duties as needed to support daily kitchen operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Comply with Halal food handling requirements and work within a Halal-certified kitchen environment
• This position is based in our Halal-certified kitchen. Applicants should be comfortable working in and complying with Halal food handling and operational procedure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior food service experience to contribute to effective service delivery
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and a friendly attitude in performing duties
• Must be comfortable working in a Halal-certified kitchen.
• Able to comply with Halal food handling and hygiene procedures.
• Willing to follow the company's Halal policies and operational requirements.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and/or Tuas
