GENERAL MANAGER

The General Manager will be responsible for the strategic, financial and operational management of the company’s nightclub and entertainment venue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the nightclub’s business strategy, annual operating plan, budget and revenue targets.
• Direct the overall management of entertainment, guest relations, venue operations, marketing and security coordination.
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, manpower costs, event profitability and overall business performance.
• Develop entertainment programmes, themed nights, private functions and promotional events.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with performers, DJs, event organisers, promoters, suppliers and corporate partners.
• Establish operating procedures for customer service, crowd management, cash control, incident reporting and venue security.
• Supervise department managers, entertainment coordinators, guest-relations personnel and operational employees.
• Review customer attendance, event performance and sales data to improve revenue and customer retention.
• Ensure operations comply with applicable entertainment, liquor, fire-safety, security and employment requirements.
• Prepare management reports and provide business recommendations to the company director.
• Recruit, train and evaluate management and operational personnel.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company’s nightclub and entertainment business.
