Visual Merchandising Manager

We are seeking a skilled Manager for VM Development & Engineering to lead technical development and engineering efforts in creating innovative retail solutions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive engineering excellence across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess design concepts for technical feasibility, manufacturability, and production requirements.

• Develop engineering solutions that align with design intent while enhancing durability and functionality.

• Recommend materials and manufacturing processes to meet quality and cost objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Lead prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure product durability and compliance with safety and performance standards.

• Initiate value engineering projects to enhance product performance while reducing costs.

• Work closely with manufacturing partners to validate engineering proposals and production methods.

• Conduct engineering reviews and uphold quality standards throughout the production stages.

• Document and track cost-saving initiatives and engineering improvements across various projects.

• Maintain best practices in engineering standards and documentation across all projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in display, visual merchandising, or retail fixture industries.

• Strong knowledge of display construction and manufacturing processes, including acrylic and metal fabrication.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings.

• Effective analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing business environments.

• Strong collaborative and decision-making skills; sketching skills are an advantage.
