Patient Service Associate | Healthcare

As a Patient Service Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and support to patients and their families, while upholding the organization's commitment to providing trusted and quality healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Register patients promptly and ensure all personal and medical information is accurately entered into the system

• Verify and update corporate, insurance, government, and other direct billing arrangements in the system

• Schedule and manage patient appointments accurately, and coordinate timely follow-ups with patients, doctors, and relevant departments

• Attend to enquiries, manage incoming calls, and relay important messages to the appropriate personnel for follow-up

• Maintain proper filing of reports and documents, while ensuring referral and follow-up appointments are tracked and completed in accordance with established procedures

• Ensure all clinical entries made by doctors, nurses, and other healthcare personnel are accurately reflected in the billing and services provided

• Prepare and verify patient bills to ensure compliance with contractual and billing requirements

• Collect and process the necessary documents and payments

• Perform end-of-day closing procedures, ensuring daily reports reconcile accurately with cash collections and cashless transactions

About you

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills

• Open to shift work arrangement across Monday to Sunday
