Job Summary

Deliver engaging Primary 5 and 6 Science lessons, mark homework with detailed feedback, and provide academic support to help students excel in Science using Bestminds Academy’s curriculum and teaching methodology.

Responsibilities

• Teach Singapore Primary 5 and Primary 6 Science in small-group classes to build students’ subject mastery and confidence
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons using Bestminds Academy’s curriculum and OAC Method to foster critical thinking and clear communication
• Mark students’ assignments promptly and accurately to assess understanding and progress
• Provide personalised, actionable feedback on homework to improve students’ answering techniques and conceptual grasp
• Respond to students’ Science questions outside lesson hours via the designated platform to clarify concepts and support learning
• Commit to at least one academic year to ensure continuity and consistent student development

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a closely related discipline
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Primary Science syllabus
• Excellent communication and written English skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Former MOE teachers are highly preferred

Other Information

Salary & Benefits

• Gross monthly salary: S$4,500
• Estimated take-home pay: Approximately S$3,600 (after employee CPF contribution)
• Employer CPF contributions in accordance with CPF regulations, total employment cost approx. S$5,310/month
• Annual salary increment based on performance
• Performance-based commission linked to student enrolment and business growth
