Job Summary

Perform routine and periodic cleaning in clinical and public areas to maintain a safe, hygienic environment in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical areas, wards, consultation and treatment rooms, waiting areas, lobby, corridors, staircases, public spaces, and washrooms following established procedures
• Lift and push cleaning equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients and staff to support a patient-centric environment
• Follow instructions accurately and complete cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and protocols

Required competencies and certifications

• Maintain physical fitness to perform lifting and pushing tasks safely
• Comply with hospital vaccination requirements to meet employment criteria

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• No prior experience required; a good working attitude and eagerness to learn are valued
